Gacha Pets Update 7.8

The equipment refining system has been completely reworked! Refinement now follows a deterministic progression, eliminating random chance. Additionally, a powerful new summoning shrine boss, Sindri, has entered the fray—along with his exclusive lockbox, Forgemaster's Coffer, brimming with valuable ore!

New Refinement System

Many players found the previous refinement system frustrating, as high-level upgrades required hundreds of Whetstones with no guarantee of success. To address this, refinement now progresses in a predictable manner: each level costs an increasing amount of Whetstones. For example, upgrading from +0 to +1 requires one Whetstone, while +1 to +2 requires two, and so on. No more getting unlucky—your efforts will always pay off!

Most equipment traits have been updated to be balanced with the new refinement system. Check out the equipment guide to see the changes.

Sindri: The Forgemaster

A new challenge awaits! You can now summon Sindri using Summon Scrolls found in Sealed Summoning Scrolls, the Endless Dungeon, Mines, and Forest. Defeating him rewards you with his exclusive lockbox, which contains the all-new Cinder Shard. Trade these shards at the pet shop to obtain Cinder. With a Brand of Blazer, Cinder can evolve into Blazer!

Additional Changes & Improvements

This update introduces numerous tweaks and enhancements:

• Kaze's Cannon Fodder: May now trigger at the start of battle.
• Cooldown Skills: The chance to trigger cooldown skills from equipment is now reduced based on cooldown time. Most cooldown skills now deal 2x damage.
• Locksmith: You can now open multiple lockboxes at once.
• Dungeon and Mine Maps: These have been removed from your inventory and refunded.
• Buggy: Now obtainable from eggs. Buggy shards have been refunded.
• Equipment Refinement Reset: All refinement levels have been reset to 0. Any Whetstones used have been returned via the post office.
• Puck: Now an evolved pet with increased attributes. You can obtain Hobgoblin Shards and Brand of Puck from the Krampus lockbox.
• Healing Rebalance: Healing skills, traits, and effects have been adjusted. Skills that heal based on an attribute now heal for ~25% as much. Most healing skills that previously healed based on damage done now scale with max health instead.
• Effect & Trigger Damage: Many traits, skills, and status effects that deal damage can now critically strike and benefit from damage-increasing attributes. For example, Deep Wounds from Tusk of Tuska now benefits from critical strike chance, critical strike damage, increased damage, and increased earth damage.
• Buff Skills: Most skills that apply a status effect now have increased durations. For example, Frost Ward’s duration has increased from 5 to 20 turns.

All refunds have been sent through the post office. Check your mail to claim your refunded items.
