Question about Orb of Evolution

Are orbs of evolution only found in the endless forest bosses or can they also be found by destroying other enemies in the endless, like traps?

Orbs of evolution can be found in the dungeon, mines and forest. Forest has a higher chance of dropping them the further you get in.
