I increased my strength yet the damage did not increase

I sent my male flappy to the gym and his strength increased but when I went to the endless dungeon I did the same damage as before with flapper clap

I was wondering if the bonus for having a male and female of the same pet applies if they are in another place (for example Library)?

Yeah, Flappy is a speed-scaled pet. I'm glad you figured that out!
