Newbie Questions
Posted by rowdyamerican on May 2, 2023Just started playing this game a few days ago and I'm a little confused. I have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer. How can you find out what items do? I've picked up things in the dungeon but I'm not sure what they do. How do you figure out where to send a pet for training? I'm assuming the pets that focus on intelligence need to go to the library and pets with strength go to the gym. Is this correct? I've also noticed that not all items are listed in the inventory. Specifically I'm referring to eggs and amber. Sorry if these questions seem stupid, but I wouldn't mind a nudge in the right direction. There doesn't seem to be a lot of in game help.

To learn more about a specific item, just ask "What is x?" X can be a pet, item, or even a move! It'll give a quick description of what it does.
There is a list of places your pet can go on this website, somewhere. You might also try "List places." or "Where can I send my pets?". As far as I know, you are correct, but you can send pets to any of the places. If you ask what a move does, it will often say that it deals damage based off speed or strength, ect. Do some research and you should be able to target training for your pets.
You can ask how much amber or haw many eggs you have. I hope this helps! If you have more questions, you can just comment them here and I can help. ;)
Hi rowdyamerican,I just saw your question here. I am guessing that you are playing this game using your Echo and that you are not using the browser version of this game. I use both consistently, so I can answer questions about both of them. If so, you can say Alexa, tell me about (name of the item you want to learn about). There will be a brief description of the item that tells you what it does. You can send pets anywhere to train to improve their attributes based on what you feel they need. Pets are strength based, speed based, intelligence based and a few are vitality based. Each pet has a primary and secondary skill and each skill has one or two attributes associated with it. A devvy for example has the skills poke and ignite. Poke needs speed to increase multiple its and overall damage, and ignite needs intelligence to increase damage. To learn about your pets and their attributes, you can say inspect pet name) or tell me about (pet name. You can also say tell me about (name of skill you are interested in learning about) to here a description of it. You can send pet to the gym for strength, to the track for speed, the the library for intelligence and to the mountain peak for vitality. I will usually train my pets based on what attributes improve their skills, and I generally like to train my pets to have more speed and vitality so they have a better chance of attacking first and better health overall. There are also orbs of mastery that you can get in the endless forest to improve your pets mastery level any of their skills. To find out how many eggs you have, say how many eggs or how many Ggacha eggs, and for amber, ask how many amber or how many ancient amber. I hope this helps.
Lol That is so funny. we both just put out answers at the same time
Haha
Yes, I noticed that, too. Ha ha ha!
Double the help, right? Also, no matter what atributes your pet needs, always give them speed which influences if the pet attacks first and vitality which will give your pet more health when it levels up. The only thing you can't learn about right now is status effects, though I hope Malero adds descriptions of status effects.
Thanks for the tip! I didnt know that was how vitality worked, but now i need to utilize that!
I'm pretty sure that's how it works. It was just a guess, so don't take my word on it. Anyway, my vitality based pets like cackle and terra are getting a lot of vitality, so that's why I guessed that. Actually, terra is strength based, but they're both designed to draw enemy attacks and tank dmg in the forest and bounty hunts. At least that's what I use them for.
Vitality gives a flat amount of max health, it doesn't increase what you get when leveling up.
