Entering the game no longer puts you back in the forest

Hi. I stopped the game on my alexa device in the forest and when I went back in it puts me back in the main area of the game meaning I have to re select the pets I want to take into the forest.

This has only been happening from today. If I use the website I go straight back into the forest but if I use the smart speaker I go back to the main area like where you choose arena etc. Is there something wrong with the Amazon smart speaker side?
