Questions about experience and problem with mistic shroud.
Posted by jewel on Feb. 22, 2025Hi. I've been playing this game on my alexa, and I'm wondering a few things. I know there isn't double experience anymore, but it seems like I'm getting less than half of what I got before. Earlier in the arena, my pets would get between 41 and 43 thousand experience. Now they receive between 8 and 10 thousand with full happiness, and in the endless dungeon after defeating a level 414 ice dragon, my pet only got 26000.
I've also noticed that whenever I equip my mistic shroud to zombeyes or mumzies and try to battle with them, the game always says "Sorry, I'm having trouble accessing your gacha pets skill right now," and won't let me do the battles.
Finally, when I look at the discriptions for my pucks and my cherub, it discribes them as companions instead of pets. Why is this?

It looks like the experience multiplier from events is applied before the diminishing returns is calculated, so the double experience from the events is being diminished as well. I'll have to see if I can figure out a better solution. There are some other problems with it as well that others players have brought up.
I'll have to take a look at Mystic Shroud with Zombeye and Mumzie.
Some of the new pets looked more human that like a pet, so I created a new classification for them. It's a bit weird. I probably won't be adding too many of them.
