A problem with Grotesque on the browser version
Posted by Jennifer on May 5, 2024Today I evolved my Male and Female Burpy into Grotesque. I used them for a few fights with Whiskers to give them ancient gifts and I also faught in the arena a few times with Dragon Eye on them. Both of their skills were working fine but now when I try to use Swallow Whole I get the message Please Wait... and nothing happens so then I have to use Flaming Belch. There was one time when I tried Swallow Whole and got that message so I tried Flaming Belch and got the same message so I just had to shut the game off and go back in to finish the fight.

I told a friend what was going on with my Grotesque and he told me that the skill swallow whole can only be used once every three turnes. I then decided to look at the system messages and I saw where it said swallow whole was on cool down for two more turns. One day I'll remember to look at the system messages when something seems to go wrong because it's most likely a part of the game.
